Trailer is now Home

We have pulled the camper home, got it winterized and it’s now sitting where it will sit until spring…over at the DSCC where we pay for it to be stored. It didn’t come home without some problems though! First when hubby went to go pick up the Pick-UP it wouldn’t start…his fault…he parked the Truck over at the DSCC in May and it just sat there all summer long without being started. Then after he unhooked the trailer at the place we were getting it winterized…he was going down the road and someone motioned him and told him he was losing things out of the back of the Truck…Tail Gate…broke! We lost our cooler and his tools…which were worth about $1,000.00! UGHHHHH Someone apparently stopped and picked them up as soon as they were falling out of the back of the truck because they were nowhere to be found!

Okay, so we thought oh well, we just didn’t have a lucky day yesterday and figured out luck would have to change for the better! NOT!!! Went out this morning to go get hair cuts and go to breakfast and the car wouldn’t start! Apparently hubby didn’t look or check when he went after pizza last night that the fan on the heater wasn’t shutting of so it ran until it killed the battery. So there we were jumping the car and taking it to the repair shop to find out what was going on with that…$133.00 later we found out that it was a switch that had shorted and wouldn’t go off. We now have that fixed! Hopefully things are fixed for a while!

Hubby left to go over to his job at the Stadium as an Usher. He loves that Job, he loves the BUCKEYE’S! They are playing a pivotal game tonight with Penn State. They need to beat Penn State. Go BUCKEYE’S!

The weather is changing so much! It’s getting a lot cooler. Not looking forward to the snow…grrrrrrrrrrr. Our tree’s in front of our house haven’t even started changing leaf color. They are still just as green as can be. Don’t know what’s up with that.

We are heading down to Huntington next weekend. We are going down to visit with family and to make sure we get down there to put flowers on FIL grave. He passed away on November 4, 2006. We miss him every day. He was funny, and he had never met a stranger. He would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. You are missed Gene!

Hope you all have a great week and hope you had a great weekend!
